PlanJam! You will never be bored again
I look at hundreds of websites a week in order to choose which ones to review. Most of the sites I write about are excellent, offering honest products and information to the public.
Every once in a while, a website comes up on my screen that amazes me. These websites offer a compilation of information so powerful I sit and wonder how the builders of these sites accomplished so wonderful a task. One such website is PlanJam.com.
PlanJam is a very easy to use interface that allows you to explore social possibilities for any point in the United States. (Sorry rest of the world, I hope they build PlanJams for your country soon.) What do I mean by “social possibilities”?
When you visit PlanJam.com, you type in a location. You are then given 11 activity categories to choose from. They range from extreme action adventure to strolls in a museum, for slowpokes like me, to romantic interludes. Click on one of these categories and a list of subcategories appears. For example if I click on on the main topic, Romantic, date ideas such as picnics, quaint restaurants and walks on the beach appear.
I then click on one of these choices and several specific places to go appear… and they are all from the location I chose. Now, I have lived in my town for 40 years and PlanJam is showing me things to do even I was unaware of. This is the ultimate things to do website. Don’t ask your mother for dating advice just go to PlanJam! Bookmark this site… and you will never be bored again.
